Treats! Treats...and more treats!
There is nothing wrong with special occasion foods, as long as every day is not a special occasion. I know for me what works is eating healthy portions all day, and I have found out that I don't need to reward myself with a food that is bad for me. If I feel like a treat, it really has to be something special and I am strategic about how and when I eat it. That means, I try to exercise during that day so I don't feel guilty. There is nothing worse then the guilt that goes along with eating something processed that you know just sits in your belly waiting to cause havoc in the system.
